Starent Networks contacted VideoLink with the desire to pull off a webcast of a company meeting to all of its employees globally. Services Offered |
The Job: Starent Networks contacted VideoLink with to pull off a live meeting webcast to all of Starent's employees globally. This is what we do, so no problem. The challenge: we had three days to pull it off. Working with the Marketing Communications team at Starent, VideoLink staged a 300 person live meeting webcast at an off-site venue including plasma monitors, audio visual support and staging. The event was then broadcast live via a video only interactive webcast to approximately 1,000 employees worldwide. For those who weren’t near a computer, a phone bridge was set up to accommodate up to 200 people, all from different countries. The added twist, one hour before the event, VideoLink found out the topic of the event was the announcement that Cisco Systems was going to acquire Starent Networks, so some of the content changed as the last moment. The event was a great success and tapped into VideoLink’s capacity to truly turn on a dime and present an interactive far reaching solution to a client with a global presence.
